Some members of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) are reportedly angry at the failure of the Fair Wages Commission to migrate them unto the Single Spine Salary Structure.
Reports say they have started mounting pressure on the executives to declare a strike from January in line with the threat they issued some weeks ago.
NAGRAT President, Christian Addae-Poku said, “actually our members are angry. Those who have heard that the Single Spine has not been implemented in December are angry and are calling for a formal announcement to be made so that industrial action can start.”
But Mr Addae-Poku said there is evidence suggesting that the delay is in their interest.
He however said they will lay down their tools if the process stalls again.
The NAGRAT President also disclosed plans to roll out a housing scheme for members next year.
