Airtel One8 super group is poised for international success after being recognized on the Best Bet 2011 list by US-based Billboard International. Billboard International described the Airtel One8 group as “a talented act that is poised for international success.” Airtel One8 made their debut on the Billboard list in November 2010 with the global hit “Hands Across the World”, which features no less a person than R'n'B’s pied piper – R Kelly – who wrote and produced the song. The Billboard ‘Best Bet list’ is an annual forecast of upcoming artists or groups that are destined for success in the New Year. This year’s list includes American country pop singer and Grammy award-winner Taylor Swift. Past lists have included prominent artists such as U2, Drake, and Keri Hilson. The One8 group features eight of Africa’s top acts including Ghana’s hip-life trio, 4x4.
