Ghana’s ultimate Easter celebrations station, Adom 106.3 FM, is up again with its synonymous Easter festivities up on the Kwahu Mountains.
At the mention of the now immensely popular catchphrase, Kwahu oooooo Kwahu, people know Adom FM is about to do their magic again.
Year in, year out, the station has never failed to deliver as an entertainment powerhouse; bringing massive excitement and thrills to the many Ghanaians and foreigners who troop to the Kwahu Ridge to take part in the celebrations with events like a street jam, hi-life and hiplife bashes among others.
This year, from April 21 to April 25, the story will be no different as the station, backed by telecoms giant Vodafone, is set to raise standards with an entertainment package meant to give patrons the absolute thrill.
The fun-packed party begins with a fundraising exercise at Linda d'Or to support the Tomoni Orphanage which will be climaxed with an Open House Jam featuring the Adom FM Crew on Thursday April 21.
On Good Friday, the Akwaaba bash at Ohene Nana Classic (Mpraeso) with Nana Tuffuor and Daasebre Ahoofe Gyamenah comes off expecting to attract patrons from all walks of life.
There will be a traditional durbar of the chiefs and people of Kwahu; another Adom FM innovation in collaboration with the Ghana Tourist Board under the auspices of Kwahu Development Association and Kwahu Traditional Council on the morning of Easter Saturday.
