The Ho Polytechnic is investigating an alleged incident in which some of its students sexually molested female students and a tutor of the Ho Nursing Training College.
The GNA reported that the Ho Poly students stormed the Training College during a float, fondled the breasts of some of their victims and inserted their fingers into the genitals of a lady they stripped naked.
They are also said to have pulled out their penises, flaunting them with glee amidst invectives that student nurses are prostitutes.
There are also reports that the students looted some shops and supermarkets during the incident.
The action by the students follow a similar attack by the students of the University of Ghana on a lady they accuse of being a phone and laptop thief.
Rector of the Polytechnic Dr. Jakpasu Afun told Joy News officials of the Training College have filed an official complaint for investigations.
He said his outfit in collaboration with the Police have began investigating the matter in order to get to the bottom of the allegation.
Officials of the polytechnic have met the Volta Regional Police Commander over the incident.
Dr Afun said any student found culpable will not be spared.
