Yaa Achaa, otherwise known as Julie Juu who has finally launched her debut album, “Bene Won Nko Mma Me”.
The album which is already receiving air time on radio and TV was launched at the Freedom Chapel International Church at Odorkor Official Town in Accra just before the beginning of the New Year.
Launching the album, the Apostle Francis Amoako Atta, the founder of the church said every individual has a God- given talent which he or she must discover for himself or herself to fulfill his or her mission on earth.
Various groups and individuals like the Freedom Chapel Choir, Baffour Kyei and Sharifa Gunu and her dancers performed as part of the programme.
Sharifa Gunu won the hearts of all at the ceremony when she announced that even though she was a Muslim, she felt she was doing the work of Allah by giving support to a Christian sister who was pursuing a worthy cause.
Julie Juu, with the support of Super Yaw Ofori of “Sika Ye Abrantie” and “Abrabo Ye Hard” fame, who also backed her in all her 8-track album, entertained those present with an impressive performance.
In an interview after the show, Yaa Achaa, a.k.a Julie Juu, told Graphic Showbiz that she was inspired by God and People like Apostle Francis Amoako Atta and Super Yaw Ofori.
She admitted that she was also influenced by the music of Grace Ashy, Christiana Love and Yaw Sarpong and his Asomafo.
She promised that her debut album was not going to be a nine-day wonder, but will be followed by many others.
