A 50-year-old man is in the grips of the Bawku Police for hiding several ammunition in his house.Awudu Lae Awinnaba is the father of one of two suspects arrested earlier for inflicting cutlass wounds on two men last week.The two according to police sources were farmers. It is unclear what led to the attack but Police say they have been informed the two were attacked by three persons while they were on their farms.Bawku Police Commander, ACP Boadu Peprah who confirmed the arrest to Joy News said the three would be put before court on Wednesday August 17, 2011.He said the police retrieved various ammunition during the latest arrests.“We came across 1334 rounds of ammunition,” he said.Asked whether police have been able to establish the reason why the suspects kept the weapons ACP Boadu Peprah said “investigation is ongoing.”
