Miss Malaika contestant Rita on Wednesday fell out of the ongoing Miss Malaika Ghana 2011 beauty reality competition when the second eviction show was held at the Gh-One studios.
Three contestants - Geneivee, Nana Konadu and Rita were up for eviction on the night following the week’s task of a cooking contest and a donation to the New Horizon School.
Rita had to bow out of the competition as she came bottom amongst the three and to follow Asi Addo-Yobo and Esi Doe Okudzeto who were evicted at the first eviction show last week.
Against set criteria, the God Mothers who also have the power and discretion to save any contestant also served as judges of the contestants in the cooking episode.
ALEX was exempt from eviction for raising the highest amount for the donation to the New Horizon School while Felicia, Emma, Magdalene and Mikafui who formed one of the three groups for the cooking competition were also saved from eviction for emerging as the best cooking group according to the God Mothers as they paid particular attention to the presentation of the contestants. They also looked out for dishes with the appropriate nutrients considering the challenges the students had.
Fans of the contestants are encouraged to vote by texting the names of their favourites to the short code 1757 (all networks) and to keep them in the competition.
