Black Stars midfielder Andre ‘Dede’ Ayew is now a father. The Marseille winger’s girlfriend gave birth to a baby girl at a posh hospital in France two weeks ago, it has emerged.
The identity of his French woman is still unknown but she is said to be ‘a very beautiful woman’, friends of the Ghanaian superstar have told Ghanasoccernet.com
Dede shed tears of joy as he saw his 7lb 10oz daughter.
The proud father announced the birth to his mother by telephone while his father Abedi Pele was believed to have been in France to support the new father and mother.
The name of the baby girl has not been made public.
Abedi's first son Rahim Ayew, who plays for Belgian side Lierse, has a son who is said to also have a keen interest in football.
