Kim Kardashian's split from Kris Humphries is taking a toll on the former newlyweds, as well as their fans.
An ad posted to Craigslist on October 31 – the day Kardashian filed for divorce – called for distraught fans of the unhappy couple to meet in front of the Dash store in New York City at 4:15 that afternoon.
The attendees (who, amazingly, weren’t too busy occupying Wall Street to arrive at the vigil) showed up with candles, flowers, magazine covers and signs to mourn the end of the 72-day marriage.
One man held a sign that read, “If ur [sic] a bird, I’m a bird, Kim” - referencing “The Notebook.” Another held up a phone number (presumably his own) and the words "Call me, Kim!" scrawled on piece of cardboard. Another note encouraged the disheartened to "remember the happier episodes."
Other notable mourners, according to BuzzFeed’s photos, included someone dressed as Pee-wee Herman, a girl wearing a Scooby-Doo costume and a man with a guitar.
