Educational Assessment and Research Centre, a Ghanaian non-governmental organisation, has presented quantities of adhesives to the Ledzokuku-Krowor District Education Directorate for onward distribution to schools in the district as part of its 10th anniversary celebration. The glue was donated to the organisation by P.A. AFIMED, a Spain-based organisation. The presentation was made by Mrs Akosua Adu, Education Advisor for Educational Assessment and Research Centre. In her speech, she expressed the hope that the glue would be used appropriately and would go to enhance quality education in the district. She said research had shown that students had experienced significant advances in achievement and student growth as art had become infused in the curriculum. It was, therefore, hoped that the donation would go a long way to enhance art education in the district.
