It was an exciting day out for the tens of family units who turned up for the third edition of the Luv Fm/rLG Family Party in the Park in Kumasi.
The New Year family socialization event moved from the KNUST Botanic Gardens to the Golden Tulip Gardens to afford patrons a more relaxed and fun-filled atmosphere.
“It’s been really fantastic. I really enjoyed every bit of it. The kids have enjoyed themselves and the elderly too were not left out. You’ve done so well”, expressed one mother.
Indeed the Tulip Gardens bubbled, as the hotel made its facilities available for families to experience the best of hospitality at the party grounds.
There was no dull moment at the tropical gardens in the heart of the Garden City, an abode where the birds had found love with the trees and flowers.
The vast and greenly area provided a beautiful and natural habitat for families to relax and meditate.
Families contested and played in the various fun games and shared in the joy of the season. The bouncy castles and horse riding activities attracted the attention of the kids; but the ‘Azonto’ dance craze raged on, as the children beat their parents with their trendy moves on the dance floor.
The “Family Party in the Park” initiated by Joy Fm, has the objective to create quality fun for families – to hang out, network and socialize amidst good food, drink and music.
The socialization event has been hailed as fulfilling for families and friends as Nigerian movie star, Desmond Elliot who passed through with his family.
Title sponsor of the event, rLG Communications described the organization of the party as very impressive.
rLG Communications' Ashanti Regional Sales Manager, Baba Seidu, said the company’s decision to partner Luv Fm is based on rLG’s corporate mandate “to give back to Ghanaians what they have given us”, in terms of patronizing its products.
Other sponsors include Michael Achie Limited, Purple Pearls Collection, Sunrise Organic Soya Milk and Schweppes Malt from Coca Cola.
