Ace radio personality and Executive Director of Empire Entertainment, Nathaniel Kwabena Adisi better known as Bola Ray and his family has donated over GHS1500 cash in aid of the Zeozogou classroom project of the SOS Villages Ghana.
The donation, last Sunday, comes after Bola Ray brought together other notable celebrities to raise funds for the donation at the Silverbird Cinema and Lifestyle Store on December 7, last year.
Bola Ray, who is the host of the biggest drive time show in the capital and beyond, Drive Time on Joy 99.7 FM made the donation with the support of his Empire Entertainment team, his wife, Dorcas, and two sons.
Aside the cash donation, Bola Ray with the support of the Bannerman-Quist family, Auntie Laing, and Loretta Ayettey also presented assorted items including bags of rice, drinks, clothes and many others to the village.
The New Year donation to the SOS Children's village is set to become an annual affair for Bola Ray, his family and friends following a similar donation to the village last year.
Bola Ray and his wife revealed that beginning from this month, a stipulated amount of money will be deducted from their salaries and directly donated to the SOS Children's village to support the education of the orphans.
Also present at the short ceremony was the ever humorous Funny Face, who treated kids at the village to some rib-cracking comedy.
