As a lady, what would you do if your church Deacon you respected and saw as father visits you one day and gives you a surprise present.
Not just any present, although as good as the idea is and excited as you may be, you get to know that it was panties and bra the man of God had bought for you.
Apparently even in church, he has been flirting with you in his mind and that present came with it a huge request of you wearing it for him to see. Please say amen to that!
This was apparently the ordeal of Effie, KSM's sister in Uncle Ebo Whyte's latest master piece, Trials of the Ghanaian which pleased eyes and satisfied the thirst of scores of patrons who throng the National Theatre over the weekend.
The many who defied a heavy down pour to watch the play take stage on Saturday and Sunday will agree that the Deacon pantie saga is just but minute in terms of KSM, the main character's hustles and trials as a returnee to Ghana.
The play tells the story of KSM (played by Andrew Tandoh Adote and Kabutey Ocansey) who returns to Ghana after studying and working in the USA. He is returning with a mission to change Ghana.
Trials of the Ghanaian captures the hilarious journey of KSM who struggles to come to grips with a country and a system that accepts the unacceptable.
A country where lights go on and off as if children are playing with the switches and before I forget, a country where Coca Cola and Pepsi are treated as the same thing!
