Some workers of Ghana Post Company could soon be laid off. This, according to management is part of long-term measures to make the company more-efficient in its operations.
The company currently spends close to seventy percent of its revenue on payment of the staff.Speaking to JOY BUSINESS, Managing Director, Abdul Rafui won’t give details about the planned redundancy exercise except to say, it has become necessary due to the company’s high operational cost.
He adds management is currently exploring various avenues to ensure workers to be affected receive their due redundancy packages.
