The Musicians Union of Ghana, MUSIGA in collaboration with the Actors Guild of Ghana under the auspices of the Funeral Planning Committee will hold a musical concert on Wednesday night at the Trade Fair Centre, Accra, in honour of late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills.
Speaking in an interview with Hitz Fm on Wednesday, the Administrator for MUSIGA, Ahuma Bosco Ocansey (Daddy Bosco) disclosed, the concert will take place at the Trade Fair Centre through to Friday.
Most of the Hiplife artistes will mount the stage on Wednesday night with their Raggae compatriots to put up a musical concert, which will be interspersed with presentations by the Actors Guild led by Fred Amugi, through a sketch on the life the late President.
On Thursday, the MUSIGA band will play with artistes such as Kofi B and KK Fosu among others.
On Friday, the concert will be climaxed with top artistes including Samini, Abrantie Amakye Dede, Obuor, Kojo Antwi, Okyeame Kwame , Cecilia Marfo.
Aside all the performances, tributes will be read by some of the celebrated actors and actresses and then some presentations will be made by representatives of the various political parties.
Daddy Bosco however indicated, the concert is absolutely free for the general public and it starts from 6pm each night.
