Veteran actor Kojo Dadson, according to sources is expected to be discharged from hospital this week after he underwent treatment for a mild stroke.
The actor, sources say was rushed to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital about a week a go by Ghanaian actor Fred Amugi after he collapsed during the shooting of Illusions, a television series.
Viasat 1 quoted the producer of the series as saying that prior to the shoot, Kojo Dadson did not appear physically fit but he determinedly went on with the shooting until he suffered the attack.
Although there are conflicting accounts as to when and how exactly the incident occurred, a family source who spoke to Myjoyonline.com confirmed that the veteran actor is responding to treatment and is expected to be discharged within the week.
The family source however, declined to comment further saying the issue is “sensitive”.
When Myjoyonline.com contacted Kojo Dadson’s close friend, Fred Amugi Tuesday, he also declined to comment on the matter.
Kojo Dadson, who is widely known for the television series Home Sweet Home, recently stunned many when he emerged with a new hip look. That hip look came with a rap single and video, Ma Rap-eaa rap-e which was the soundtrack of the movie Dr Love.
