An A-list of artistes have been billed to rock this year's MTN Ghana Music Awards night scheduled to take place at the Dome on April 9.
The MTN Ghana Music Awards Festival is as much about the Award winning as it is about the quality of artistes billed to perform at the event which by all standards is the biggest entertainment event on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar.
With less than two weeks to April 9, the organizers have released the list of talented musicians- Kwabena Kwabena, Cecilia Marfo, Becca, Efya and Sherifa Gunu.
The rest are Trigmatic, the gospel group No Tribe, Samini, Iwan, VIP, 5 Five, D Black, D Cryme, Florence Obinim, Princess Ifeoma and the Highlife entrant Bless to rock the awards night.
Representing the matured generation will be the Highlife superstar CK Mann whose brand of music has proven to have more stay power than many thought.
Also joining the galaxy of stars on the night as guest artistes will be the Oleku man Ice Prince and Tu Face Idibia of African Queen fame all from Nigeria.
With a desire to give nominees the best treatment deserving of stars on the night of the event, a series of protocol arrangements are being tabled.
Organisers are promising that measures are being put in place to ensure that everyone who comes to the Dome of the Accra International Conference Center to watch their stars pick up awards on April 9 is treated like a celebrity.
