Shatta Wale and Sarkodie

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale says the alleged beef between himself and rapper Sarkodie is just theatricals - a claim which has raised eyebrows of respective fans.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, the 'Melissa' singer said that he and the rapper, with whom he seems to have fallen out, are friends and only orchestrate publicity stunts.

“Me and Sarkodie we are actors. He is my brother and everything. This is how we talk every day,” he said during a surprise phone-in chat with the BET Award winner's 35th birthday.

Wishing him a Happy Birthday, the self-styled dancehall king said he will be playing Sarkodie’s music on his social media platforms to commemorate the day.

"Today we are playing full Sark. On my Snapchats, everwhere! Today we are celebrating Sark,” he said July 10, 2020.

Shatta Wale proceeded to talk to Sarkodie about visiting him with a birthday present.

He further took to Twitter to put icing on the cake.

However, the show’s host, Andy Dosty is not the only person wondering if the two artistes are truly still friends.

On the eve of the Sarkodie had dropped a new single 'CEO Flow' which featured American rapper E-40.

Sarkodie laid some lines on that song which fanatics believe were shots aimed at the Shatta Movement boss.

But the latest interaction between the duo has left followers from both camps conflicted as to the current state of their on-and-off relationship.

Hours before Shatta Wale and Sarkodie faked their 'lovely' conversation on Hitz FM this morning....this is what Sark...
