Ghanaian duo, Joselle Mensah and Unilez Takyi, missed out on medals in the final of the women’s 50m breaststroke.
Mensah finished 5th with a time of 34.05 seconds, with Takyi coming in 7th place with 34.55 seconds.
South Africa’s, Simone Moll, breezed to clinch the gold medal, setting a championship in the process.
Another South African, Jill Meyer, won silver with Egypt’s Nadine Abdallah claiming bronze.
