President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo commenced a two-day tour of the Savannah, Northern, and North-East Regions today, Monday, October 14, where he is set to engage with the inhabitants.
During this tour which will end on Tuesday, October 15, the President is expected to highlight his government’s achievements and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of citizens in these regions.
His visit underscores the government's commitment to regional development and support for the communities.

In addition to discussing government accomplishments, President Akufo-Addo will actively campaign for his Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who is the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.
The President's presence is anticipated to bolster Bawumia's campaign, as he seeks to rally support from constituents ahead of the December polls.
Accompanying the President on this tour are several government officials and representatives from the presidency, who will assist in engaging with community members.
The delegation aims to foster closer ties between the government and the people, emphasising the importance of grassroots involvement in governance.
Throughout the tour, President Akufo-Addo is expected to address key issues affecting the regions, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
By showcasing his administration's accomplishments and plans for the future, he hopes to galvanize support for the NPP and reinforce the party's commitment to the well-being of the people in the Savannah, Northern, and North-East Regions.
