The generation who were raised by the search engine giant are now buying into the mobile phone operating system in their thousands. Ok, so it's still some way off rivalling Apple and the iPhone for sales numbers but Android's applications are just as fun. Packed with all the usual Google features like G-mail, Maps and Documents, it hooks straight into the Android Marketplace to download apps. There are also plenty of social networking tools and easy web viewing on the full touch 3.5 in display with fast HSDPA surfing. It will auto rotate as you move it to see things in both portrait and landscape view. Built-in GPS is on board, with a free one month TeleNav SatNav trial, plus a decent 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera takes care of most snapping needs. You also get a 2GB internal memory out of the box to store all your music and videos on and still have plenty of room left over. A microSD card slot expands that storage while it'll even appeal to more corporate types thanks to email sync and WiFi. While the £179.99 price-tag is not cheap, the phone itself is packed with features that provide value. It will be released next month, and is certainly worthy of raising your Pulse. Source: The Sun
