On Saturday, March 30, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, spearheaded a grand clean-up campaign across Kumasi's bustling metropolis.
This initiative marked a prelude to the grand 25th anniversary of Otumfuo Osei Tutu's esteemed reign as the 16th sovereign of the illustrious Golden Stool.
The Ashanti regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, and the Mayor of Kumasi, Sam Pyne, alongside Members of Parliament, traditional leaders, and municipal executives, were present to oversee the widespread community involvement.

Notable areas such as Tafo, Bantama, Adum, and Alabar witnessed an overwhelming turnout, with the sanitation giant Zoomlion facilitating the event with the necessary logistics.
The Asantehene expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the community members for their enthusiastic participation.
Commercial activities and transportation services were paused until noon to ensure a successful clean-up, allowing every individual, from traders to drivers and local entrepreneurs, to contribute to this collective effort.
