The Ashanti Regional Fire Service has decried the extreme congestion of the Central Business District of Kumasi and public intrusion to fire scenes to obstruct fire-fighting efforts.
Deputy Regional Fire Commander, DO1 Rashid Nisau, also disputed a viral video where head porters are seen carrying water to a fire scene, ostensibly to help replenish a fire tender to fight the recent Agyekum building fire at Adum.
