The Garden City was agog with music and comedy on the night of Ghana’s 52nd Republic Day.
Patrons of the ‘Basket Mouth Unrestricted’ show had no dull moments as they were treated to soothing melodies from sensational songstress Efya and silky-voice Kwabena Kwabena.
The artistes lived up to the billing as they performed their popular tunes with live band.
The audience at the Banquet Hall of Hotel Georgia could not help but sing along to tunes like Meye, Aso, ‘Little Things’ and ‘Best in Me’.
The hilarious moments persisted as the Nigerian international stand-up comedian, Basket Mouth took the stage.
The finest African comic act lived up to expectation at the two shows in his first-ever stand-up event in Kumasi.
Basket Mouth sent patrons on a laughter spree with his socially upright jokes about Africans and scrabble for VISA, relationships, music, fashion, culture and drug abuse.
Residents of Kumasi were surely not left out in the joy of celebrating the country’s Republic Day.
The concert was put together by event management firm, Homeproud and Luv FM.
