When the lights hit the stage at Untamed Empire in Accra, there he was, Black Sherif, but not alone.
The first voice that boomed through the speakers belonged to popular Ghanaian YouTuber Code Mickey, setting the tone for a performance unlike any other.

The stage was designed to resemble one of Code Mickey’s studio interview sets, where the comedian, clad in regal Arabian attire, grilled Black Sherif with questions about his achievements over the past year.

However, the Rebel Music crooner wasn’t about to respond with words. His answers would come on stage, in a night that turned into an unforgettable rollercoaster of sound and spectacle.

Under the crisp harmattan sky, Black Sherif’s opening was perfectly subdued.
Performing his unreleased record ‘Lord I’m Amazed,’ he drew the crowd into his world with a soulful, mellow vibe. It was the calm before the storm.

What followed was a charged medley of hits like ‘Soja,’ ‘We Up,’ ‘Yaya,’ and ‘Zero,’ delivered with a live band that electrified the crowd.

The energy remained high as surprise acts, including Mr. Drew, Moliy, AratheJay, Adina, Gonaboy, AlorG, and Sefa, joined the stage, keeping revelers on their feet throughout.

When Black Sherif reappeared for his second set, he made a dramatic entrance on a sleek motorbike, donning an ash baggy tee with shoulder pads as bold as his spirit.

Kicking off with ‘Rebel Music,’ he transitioned into an unforgettable lineup of hits, blending landmark collaborations with original tracks.

Intriguing stage props, like battered scaffolds set against gym bros during ‘Kilos Milos,’ added a gritty, unexpected visual appeal to the 22-year-old star’s performance.
The night’s NVSP theme reached a crescendo with Black Sherif’s collaboration with AratheJay on ‘Jesus Christ 2’, a performance bursting with raw energy.
The crowd was also treated to electrifying moments like the explosive performance of ‘Wotowoto Seasoning,’ which tore the house down, and KiDi’s ‘Lomo Lomo,’ which brought a fresh wave of electricity to the arena.

Throughout the concert, one thing was clear: the palpable anticipation for Black Sherif’s upcoming album, ‘Iron Boy.’
Amid the euphoria, a fan shouted out his eagerness for the project. In his signature jovial style, Black Sherif assured him, and the crowd, that the album was finished and ready for release soon.
