Black Stars head coach Otto Addo continued his player monitoring efforts ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after making a trip to London on Sunday to watch Mohammed Kudus in action.
The Ghana Football Association confirmed via the Black Stars’ official X account that Addo was present at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where the attacker featured for Spurs in a Premier League fixture against Sunderland.
The visit forms part of the technical team’s broader strategy to closely track the form, fitness and performance levels of key players as preparations intensify for the global showpiece in 2026.
Kudus has been a central figure for both club and country, with his versatility, creativity and goal threat making him one of Ghana’s most influential players in recent years.
Otto Addo’s presence underlines the importance attached to the 24-year-old as the Black Stars continue to build a competitive squad capable of challenging on the world stage.
The Black Stars coaching staff are expected to maintain regular contact with Ghanaian players across Europe in the coming months, as Ghana pushes ahead with its long-term World Cup plans.
