The National Media Commission (NMC) has cleared Nhyira FM’s Nana Kwadwo Jantuah over a bribery allegation levelled against him by one Frank Kwaku Appiah (aka Appiah Stadium).
The Commission in a release issued on February 27th and signed by the Executive Secretary, George Sarpong noted that the “bribery allegation has no merit.”

According to the release, “the Commission found Frank Kwaku Appiah had recanted the allegations and admitted publicly that he had no evidence to back his claims.”
It added that a petition from Archibald Ntiri-Acquah, Fredrick Addae and George Amponsah had asked the Commission to investigate the allegations and take the necessary action.
After investigations, the Commission concluded that the confession of Frank Kwaku Appiah who made the original allegation must put the matter beyond controversy.
It would be recalled that in a leaked video that went viral, Appiah Stadium was heard narrating how Nana Kwadwo Jantuah allegedly received money from NDC National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi for doing a fantastic job for their party.
Appiah Stadium was overheard telling one Nurudeen that one Alhaji Sani had sent him to give $2,000 and an additional GHC2000 to Mr Jantuah.
Earlier, the Management of Nhyira FM, a subsidiary of The Multimedia Group, stated that the allegation of bribery levelled against one of its presenters, Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, is unfounded.
In a statement signed by the General Manager, Kumasi Business, Jimmy Aglah, he pointed out that the bribery allegations are ‘unsubstantiated.’
