The China Europe International Business School advanced eight spots in the Financial Times 2010 global ranking of executive MBA programmes, rising from #26 worldwide in 2009 to #18 for 2010. The annual FT survey of global EMBA programmes is one of the longest-running, most rigorous, and best respected media rankings. This year's FT ranking results for EMBA Programmes recorded significant improvements for CEIBS in several categories. In the category of “career progress,” CEIBS jumped from a ranking of #43 to #20 (out of the Top 100 business schools), as well as rising from #32 to #24 in “work experience.” CEIBS also improved in “salary increase” and “aims achieved” by graduates. Commenting on the news, CEIBS Executive President, Prof Zhu Xiaoming said: “We will not rest on our laurels after hearing the 2010 Financial Times ranking results. Instead, we will work even harder to continue providing the best business management education in China.” "Today's FT ranking results show that the CEIBS EMBA Programme is developing in line with market demand," said the school’s EMBA Programme Director, Prof Charles Chen. Prof Chen said he is particularly pleased with CEIBS' improved score in the satisfaction of graduates regarding “aims achieved” and in the increasing percentage of female students in the EMBA Programme, which improved from 20% in 2009 to 31% for 2010. Earlier this year, the Financial Times global full time MBA Rankings assessed the CEIBS MBA Programme at #22 worldwide and the schools Executive Education Open Programme at #24 globally.
