COCOBOD Deputy Director graduates with PhD in Built Environment from RMIT

Ghana COCOBOD Deputy Director of Civil Works, Charles Kwarteng Asafo-Adjei has recently graduated with a doctorate degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

The Ghanaian civil engineering expert with professional experience across the African region spanning over 25 years in both private and public sectors has by this added to his enviable education background a PhD in Built Environment.

Prior to this getting the doctorate, Mr. Charles Kwarteng Asafo-Adjei had 2 masters degrees; Master of Business Administration from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and Masters of Science degree in Transport Planning and Engineering, Leeds University, United Kingdom.

Mr. Charles Kwarteng Asafo-Adjei holds several other certificates and qualifications with bachelors in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is a member of Ghana Institute of Engineers and has previously worked with Ghana Feeder Roads and International Labour Organisation.

He specializes in construction, maintenance of rural roads and other civil engineering infrastructure, procurement of civil works and services and has previously worked as Chief Technical Advisor at International Labour Organization - a United Nation Agency.

Mr. Charles Kwarteng Asafo-Adjei is an alumni of St. John's School, Sekondi and the President of Tema Chapter Old Saints.
