The Jasikan Circuit Court has sentenced an employed, Wisdom Amewuame, to three years’ imprisonment in hard labour for unlawful entry and stealing Sanya branded motorbike with registration number M-22-GR 5310.
The Court sentenced Amewuame on his own plea after he pleaded guilty and for leniency.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Seth-Vincent Kpodo, Prosecuting reminded the Court presided over by Mr Lambert Keriga of the convict’s character having just returned from prisons for a similar offence and pleaded with the Court not to deal leniently with the convict.
The Court ordered that the said motorbike be returned to its rightful owner.

ASP Kpodo said the complainant then lodged a complaint with the Kwamekrom police for assistance and police investigations led to the arrest of the convict at his hideout at Bodada near Jasikan and the motorbike retrieved.
He said the convict in his investigation cautioned statement to the police, admitted the offences.
