Deputy Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Richard Gyan-Mensah, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to providing reliable energy and modern infrastructure to support the successful implementation of Ghana's 24-hour economy policy.
Mr. Gyan-Mensah made the remarks after representing the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Abdulai Jinapor, at the Ghana Investment and Trade Week (GITW) Conference 2026, held at the Palms Convention Centre in Accra under the auspices of the Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry.
He shared details of the event in a Facebook post on Wednesday, July 8.

Speaking on the theme, “Powering Ghana's 24-Hour Economy: Integrating Infrastructure, Energy, Mobility, and Sustainable Real Estate for Investment and Trade Competitiveness,” the Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of dependable energy supply, quality infrastructure, sustainable real estate development and strategic investment in unlocking the country's economic potential.

According to him, these critical sectors will play a central role in enhancing Ghana's investment attractiveness, boosting industrial productivity, creating employment opportunities and strengthening the country's competitiveness in regional and international trade.

Mr. Gyan-Mensah further stated that through ongoing reforms and stronger public-private partnerships, the government remains committed to creating a stable and competitive business environment that will support economic transformation and facilitate the successful implementation of the 24-hour economy agenda.
