The Adjabeng District Court has remanded into prison custody, the 33 year old woman, who burnt her husband and two others to death, when she made her first appearance in court, Friday, January 31.
The two other affected persons are the husband's second wife and a child..
Joy News' Beatrice Adu reported that the district court, presided over by Mr. Isaac Addo took the decision after the police prosecutor, ACP Atimbilla informed the court that investigations had been completed on the issue.
The court further asked the accused person, Afua Badu, whose plea had not been taken, to re-appear before it on February 17.
Giving a brief facts of the case, ACP Atimbilla told the court that the accused person, Afua Badu, in a jealous rage last Sunday, set her husband, Peter Amos Asobayire’s house in Tantra Hill, where he, his second wife and child were sleeping, on fire.
Meanwhile, family members of the deceased, who visibly showed signs of anger, thronged the court to witness proceedings on the trial of the accused person, who was shabbily dressed with scowled face, as she took her seat in the court room.
