A 53-year old building contractor has been installed as the Chief of Domi-Beposo in the Amansie West District, in the Ashanti Region.Nana Gyamfi Boadu II, known in private life as Mr Adu Gyamfi Kumanin, pledged to do everything to promote education in the area and work tirelessly to ensure that the right conditions existed in schools in the community for effective teaching and learning.Additionally, he would focus on the maintenance of good environmental sanitation to help prevent diseases.Nana Boadu II gave the assurance after swearing the oath of allegiance to the Omanhene of Manso-Nkwanta Traditional Area, Nana Bi-Kusi Appiah II, at his palace.The Omanhene advised the new chief to carry himself with grace and dignity so as to protect the image of the chieftaincy institution.He should be law-abiding, honest and transparent.
