Local pharmaceutical company Ernest Chemists Limited has inaugurated its flagship branch at the Nester Square at Airport City in Accra.
Chief Executive Officer of Ernest Chemists Limited, Ernest Bediako Sampong, says “the decision to open this flagship branch is to offer the best product with the best customer care in a serene environment to provide quality and affordable products”.
According to him, the company had over the years provided support in the healthcare sector through the manufacture and distribution of quality medicines as well as supporting needy and less-endowed institutions.
He pledged to maintain standards in the production of medicines and also ensure that whatever the company produced was affordable to meet the pockets of everybody.
Mr Bediako Sampong said it had been the philosophy of Ernest Chemists to provide guidance and continue to contribute to the health needs of society.
According to him, since the company started business in 1986, it had come to appreciate the immense contribution of its value system based on integrity which had contributed to the growth and advancement of the company’s operations.
He said “in the competitive global environment, Ernest Chemists believes that its destiny lies in fairness to all partners/ stakeholders, honesty in all undertakings and perseverance in all things”.
Mr Bediako Sampong said “as a member of a business that is involved in the lives of individuals, every member of the Ernest Chemists family is aware of the highest ethical standards and a sense of mission expected of him/her in all duties.”
“We shall continue in our efforts to contribute our quota to the growth of the pharmaceutical industry in Africa and fulfil our social responsibilities as a good corporate citizen in the communities we operate,” he said.
The Generals Manager of the Retail Division of Ernest Chemist Limited, Ms Adjoa Akyemah Sampong, expressed her appreciation to all those who patronised the products and services of the company and called on them “to continue to have faith in us, motivate us as we provide you with the best of products and services”.
