Four shops at Adentan barrier have been burnt down in a fire outbreak, Wednesday afternoon.
The fire which started around 12:00 noon razed down a mechanic shop, a food joint and some other shops, an eyewitness told Citi News.
A locked paint shop closer to the affected shops is said to be billowing with smoke with an imminent possibility of an explosion, the eye witness feared.
Fire men are already on the scene in a feisty attempt to put out the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
According to the eye witness, an electric pole is sited ominously around the fire scene with the cables dangling dangerously over the ascending dark cloud of smoke.
The fire personnel are struggling to disconnect the cable and to put out the fire.
