Former Acting Chairman of the Christ Apostolic Church, Apostle Augustine Annor Yeboah has died.
Apostle Dr. Annor-Yeboah who broke away from CAC to form the Christian Praise Int. Centre was recovering from an illness until his condition deteriorated Thursday morning. He was rushed to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Thursday morning where he passed away.
The Presiding Bishop was honored last April by two academic institutions in the US. Dayspring Christian University (DCU) and the American Association of Christian Therapists (AACT) conferred on him a Doctor of Christian Education (Honoris Causa) and an Associate Professor respectively.
Apostle Dr. Annor-Yeboah was a graduate of the University of Ghana where he earned a B.A. Hons degree in economics and geography in 1979. He also held honorary doctorate degree in Theology from Pentecostal College, Tuskegee, Alabama, USA.
The reverend minister and conference speaker was an iconic Christian leader, passionate voice of the Word of God whose services were broadcast on television.
In 2003, he fell out with the leadership of the Christ Apostolic Church where he made his name and was later interdicted, leading to his breakaway from the church.
