Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has presented the financial plan of government for the first quarter of 2021.
The budget termed Expenditure in Advance of Appropriation has become a usual characteristic in election years to prevent transitional challenges and ensure the smooth running of government for the first three months in the year after an election.
Among other things, the Finance Minister is seeking Parliament’s approval to spend ¢27.4 billion for the first quarter of 2021.
