The forecourt of the Silverbird Cinemas and Lifestyle store was on Saturday inundated with a galaxy of stars who thronged the place for this year's Celebrity Charity Bazaar. The stars came in their numbers to lend a helping hand to host of Drive Time on Joy FM, Bola Ray's quest to raise funds for charity works. The Celebrity Charity Bazaar was under the auspices of the Bola Ray Foundation and was powered by Empire Entertainment with support from Creative Minds Outreach and Silverbird Ghana. The fun-packed charity event raised funds to create awareness for autism and also contribute to the Zeozougo classroom project of the SOS Children’s village in the Northern region. Notable participants included Nana Aba Anamoah, John Dumelo, Bino, Nadjat, Ruff 'N' Smooth, Stay Jay, Lydia Forson, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) and a host of others who all gave their fans a rare lifetime treat by serving them in celebrity style. The stars sold movie tickets, pop corns, drinks and other services at the Silverbird Lifestyle store and Cinema. Fans interacted with their favourite stars, took pictures and danced with them and also got autographs. Aside the celebrity activities, there was a special sale of MAKSI Clothing at discounted prices. A percentage of sales on the day, according to organisers, will be donated to the charity. There was also a special kente weaving and Christmas cards exhibition by the talented kids from the New Horizon Special School and the SOS Children's Village. Some of the stars at the Celebrity Charity Bazaar, Ruff 'N' Smooth, Stay Jay and others performed and danced with their fans including kids from the New Horizon Special School and the SOS Children's Village. The event wouldn't have been complete without the popular Azonto dance as the stars and their fans were caught in a competition to outwit each other.
