The Ghana Education Service has warned it will close down private schools which flagrantly violate the service’s rules and regulations. It said some of the schools were charging arbitrarily exorbitant fees. That, according to the Public Relations Officer of the service, is exacting a heavy toll on parents. Mr Paul Kofi Krampa told Joy News the service was concerned about the way some private schools were operating in the country. He reminded proprietors of private schools that all schools in the country are under the service and warned it impose sanctions on those that flout its guidelines.
