President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, took his turn to address members at the association's 29th Ordinary Congress.
The event is being held at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi on Monday, June 10.
Kurt Okraku touched on many things relating to the developement of Ghana football, especially initiatives the association intends to implement at the regional level.
Here are the key hightlights from Kurt Okraku's address.
- Plan to have a coordinating office in Accra to oversee the work of RFAs
- FA to give GHS 100,000 for purchase of footballs for all regional competitions
- FA to provide pickups for Regional FA chairpersons
- FA will contribute GHS 300,000 for payment of officiating at the regional level
- FA to invest GHS 200,000 for training of referees under Catch Them Young initiative
- GHS 1,000 monthly allowance for referees managers at the regional level
- RFA chairman to get GHS 4,000 monthly and vice chair to get GHS 1,500 monthly.
