The Ghana Bar Association (GBA) is set to launch an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) tool called Lawyer Locator to help its members.
The body said this development is aimed at modernizing how GBA interfaces with lawyers and the public, a decision they say was largely influenced by the outbreak of Covid-19.
GBA outlined the details of how to access and use this online platform in a statement.
“For instance, lawyers can now renew their solicitor licenses within minutes, and from anywhere in the world, as compared with the previous manual renewal process that took months, and court cases could be struck out only because of this,”
