The Ghana Health Service has confirmed 695 new Covid-19 cases, increasing the country’s total to 26,125.
On its Covid-19 webpage, the Service also indicates that 22,270 people have been declared recovered/ discharged while the death toll remains 139.
Out of the 3,716 active cases, eight are in critical condition, four are on ventilators and 25 have been classified as severe.
Greater Accra still leads the rest of the regions with the most cases, 14, 391, followed by Ashanti 5,482.

The Western and Central regions have 2,206 and 1,131 respectively, while Eastern has 998.
Volta region has 457, Upper East 282, Western North 216, Bono East 206 and Oti 138.
The rest are, Bono 107, Ahafo 103, Upper West 71, Savannah 57 and North East nine.
