Ghanaian comedy continues to extend its influence globally, with Singapore becoming the latest stage to experience its growing appeal.
From 4th to 8th November 2025, Papayaw Ataamle, Ebenezer Dwomoh and Okokobioko, known collectively as the Choplife Boys, took over major comedy venues in Singapore with their signature Ghanaian humour and energetic performances.
The tour opened at The Lemon Stand Comedy Club on 4th November with a lively night of laughter and audience engagement. The group returned to the same venue on 6th November, moved to the East Coast Comedy Club on 7 November and closed the tour at Jinx Comedy Club on 8th November.
Each show highlighted the trio’s sharp wit, storytelling and cultural flavour, blending everyday African realities with humour that resonated strongly with international audiences.
A notable part of the tour’s success is the fact that the Choplife Boys personally funded the trip, with support from the Ghana Comedy Awards, as part of their commitment to promoting Ghanaian comedy globally. Their reception in Singapore reflects the determination and growth driving Ghana’s fast rising comedy industry.
The Choplife Comedy World Tour is still ongoing, with new dates and cities expected to be announced soon as the group continues its mission to share Ghanaian laughter with the world.
The Choplife Boys are also inviting corporate brands, investors and stakeholders to partner with them in elevating Ghanaian comedy to higher international levels.
