General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu has said Ghanaians are happy with the performance of the Akufo-Addo-led administration.
"If you look at where we are coming from and the challenges we have been able to surmount just over three and half years, it stands to reason that a lot of people are happy about the way Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have managed the country," he told Lexis Bill on JoyFM's Personality Profile.
He said the country is blessed to have had the current leadership at a time of a crisis when the country needs to steer its affairs diligently.
John Boadu lauded President Akufo-Addo for taking the bull by the horn in times of need and the coronavirus pandemic.
According to John Boadu, the NPP government has protected and cushioned Ghanaians in the present era of Covid-19 pandemic.
He stated that although government is doing its best, challenges inherited from the NDC administration needs a lot of work to correct.
"There are a lot of challenges as a developing country but looking at where we are coming from and what we inherited in 2017; going through IMF conditionalities that led to freeze employment particularly in the public sector, gave the NPP government a lot to do."
John Boadu said the Akufo-Addo has turned the country's fortune and urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP to enjoy more good works from the governing party.
