Ghana's Black Stars have been nominated for the Men’s National Team of the Year award at the 2025 CAF Awards.
The team has won five of its six competitive matches this year and will face stiff competition from nine other nations for the top honour.
The senior national team defeated Comoros in their final 2026 World Cup qualifier, topping Group I with 25 points - the fourth-highest total in the CAF qualifying series.

However, no Ghanaian has been shortlisted for the Men’s Player of the Year award, with Egypt’s Mohamed Salah, Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen, and seven others vying for the prize.
The CAF Awards ceremony is scheduled for December.
