Goldbod Jewellery Limited has issued a strong public warning, distancing itself from an online scheme operating under the name Gold Investment Opportunity.
In a public notice, the company said it has no connection to any digital platform or investment package using its brand and urged the public to treat such claims as fraudulent.
“We are not affiliated with, connected to, or aware of any scheme or platform described as a ‘Gold Investment Opportunity’ operating in our name,” the company stated.
“Any such representation should be considered false and immediately reported to the appropriate authorities.”
Goldbod Jewellery explained that it’s only recognised gold investment product is the Gold Tablet, which is sold strictly in physical form.
“Our officially recognised product is the Gold Tablet, available in 1 gram, 5 grams, 10 grams and 31 grams. We do not run online trading platforms, third-party schemes, or any alternative investment packages,” the statement added.
The firm also cautioned customers against purchasing gold through agents or unofficial sources, stressing that transactions must be done only at its approved outlets.
“Members of the public are advised to buy Goldbod Jewellery products only from our official showrooms or through our verified website,” the company said
“We do not sell through middlemen, agents, or unapproved online platforms.”
Goldbod Jewellery further encouraged the public to remain alert and report suspicious activity.
“Anyone who encounters individuals or platforms claiming to represent Goldbod Jewellery without authorisation should report them immediately,” the statement urged.
The company says the move is part of efforts to protect customers from fraud and safeguard the integrity of its brand as investigations into such schemes continue.
