Though the country is in ecstasy after the victory of the Ghana Black Stars, some people in the gospel fraternity are not enjoying this happiness as they have suffered what can be described as a disaster. Just last week, Edward Akwasi Boateng was reported to have lambasted some gospel artistes in Ghana and right after that, he was attacked by armed robbers at his Kumasi residence. He revealed that since he returned from the USA some few months ago after a tour there, there has been many attempts on his 'life' which he said have been futile. Until last week that the robbers succeeded and even killed all his guard dogs in his house. Edward Akwasi Boateng has consequently appealed to the general public to help him with information on the robbers. Speaking with a faint voice, it was obvious that the hard hitting gospel musician was really perturbed by the attack. Source: Flex Newspaper
