The Head of the Local Government Service, Dr Nana Ato Arthur has paid a working visit to the North Tongu District Assembly in the Volta Region.
The visit was to commiserate with the staff and receive first-hand information on the assault on the management and staff of the Assembly by unknown assailants on Friday September 25, 2020.
The visit was also to afford the Head of Service opportunity to be briefed on the security situation within the Assembly.
Dr Arthur in his meeting with the leadership of the district, was given a detailed account of the incident.

The District Chief Executive, Richard Collins Afful said the unknown assailants besieged and raided the premises of the Assembly after they had assaulted two security men on duty.
