Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe, says the club's technical team is behind their poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League.
After three games played in the 2022/23 season, the Rainbow club have only picked up two points from an available nine, losing one and drawing two, the latest being a 1-1 stalemate with Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, September 25.
The two points see Hearts currently occupying the 13th position on the league table, with fans furious with the performances so far.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Dr Tamakloe attributed the team's underperformance to the technical team, who he feels have been provided with the best players.
"If supporters could recollect, I spoke about the problem Hearts of Oak is facing and as a board, we have done our best for the club," he said.
"As a club, I can confidently say there is no club in the country whose players and coaches are better than Hearts of Oak. I am very happy that supporters are realising that the problem is the technical team and when I made mention of that, I was attacked.
"We have recruited the best players in the country for the technical team and six of these players are with the Black Galaxies but look at the results they are churning out.
"We will leave it for the supporters to judge and see if these quality players are supposed to be churning out such results.
"Years back, when Hearts of Oak play a game, you don't ask of the scoreline but you rather ask the scoreline but that is not what we are seeing today.
"I hinted on where the problem is and here we are today," he added.
The Phobians will look to record their first win of the season when they face Bibiani GoldStars in their next fixture.
