The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has confirmed that a heavy rainstorm that struck parts of Accra and its surrounding areas on the evening of March 25, 2025, has caused power outages in some affected communities.
In a public notice issued on March 26, ECG assured customers that its engineers are working diligently to repair the faults and restore power supply.
The company expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected power disruption.
